The Friends of the Cape Coral Library is a non-profit organization dedicated
to enhancing the resources and services of the library. The Friends raise funds
for supporting programs and purchasing materials for the library that are not
covered by the Lee County budget. As library advocates, our members speak out
in support of local, state, and national libraries.

One of the resources the Friends of the Cape Coral Library provides to all visitors is the beautiful Butterfly Garden. More information... reading roomAnother space funded by The Friends for the enjoyment and enrichment of the visitor's experience is the reading room in the adult section of the library. Leather reading chairs, hard-wood tables and a beautifully appointed, walled space overlooking the butterfly garden is a relaxing and comfortable way to catch up on the latest news, peruse the many periodicals located nearby, or wait to meet a friend. come and seeMeetings are held at the Cape Coral Library on the third Saturday during the months of January, March, May, July, September and November.
